Valentine's Day

Well, I'm happy to announce that Isaac successfully made it through his very first Valentine's Day! I realized the night before that I hadn't made him a special onesie for the occasion, but luckily I was able to squeeze him into an appropriate shirt!

Valentine's Day is also my sister in law, Melissa's birthday, so we went over there for some birthday fun! Which Isaac loved, and wore himself out quite nicely, I must say!

Big E's Birthday

So, on the 5th, my older brothers turned the big 3-0! I volunteered to make him a cake, and unfortunately had to leave for work before the celebrating began. Drat and bother I say! Since I had to leave, nobody remembered to take any pictures. . . Fooey.

Luckily I managed to snap this one before I left!

Oh so sweet

Isaac has started eating sweet potato last night! And of course, LOVED them! We went to my parents house for dinner, so my mom got the chance to feed him, which was sweet. I'm blessed that my little man is such an amazing eater! He had oatmeal, peaches, sweet potato, AND his bottle. Whew.

Tax Season, Already?!

I wonder if our tax agent will give us a discount, since we obviously have the most adorable advertisement for them?!

Houston, we have feet

Although Isaac noticed his feet quite a while ago, he's just now come to the realization that he can stick those bad boys in his mouth! My dad calls him a little yogi now, man that boy is bendy!
I love his face in these pictures, he gets so into it, when I take his picture, he looks like he got caught.

Play Group Pimp

A few weeks ago, I started going to a "baby's first year" play-group. It's more of a new-mom-sit-around-and-vent group, but it's still kind of fun. It's allot of moms who don't seem to get out very much, and some moms who are having a rough time with things.
It turns out to be pretty helpful, we all kind of bounce ideas off of each other. If one baby is going though something, another baby is bound to have been through it, which makes you feel a little but less alone in this whole experience.
I really like the fact that Isaac can hang out with some mini humans, closer to his own age, and interact with them. The first baby he saw was a little girl named Abby, who's mom was in our birthing class. He just fell in love with her! Until the second baby, Story came along. . . Man, she is one gorgeous little girl! She looks like a little perfect, porcelain doll. Well, he fell head over heals for her!
Most of the moms are a little skiddish about having other kids touch theirs, but I'm not shy about it. Seriously, these are babies, they learn through touching and feeling, and exploring new things. So Isaac took that idea to heart when he decided that he wanted to taste Story's hand! I thought it was uber-adorable, Story's mom. . . not so much. Ha, what are you going to do?
This week some new friends joined the group, and I had promised one of the moms that I would bring my camera, (since I'm the designated documenter of everything!) and I'm really glad that I did. Isaac got to meet two new girlfriends, Harley and Ava.
I'm convinced that he will be the pimp of this play group, because he's one of three boys there! And one of those boys is only a few weeks old!
Isaac is a few months younger than the majority of the other babies, but he doesn't let that slow him down one bit!
