Whew! Time Flies

I can't believe how fast the time has gone by since we brought Isaac home! I have to admit that I got a bit teary eyed when I tried to put my favorite pajamas on him and they were too small... It has just gone by in a blink of an eye, I can't believe it.

A Glance Back

My good friend Melissa has taken some amazing pictures of me in the past, and while I was pregnant, I decided that if I was going to ask anyone to help me capture this special time in my life, it would be her...
She did a simply glorious job, especially considering that I wasn't quite as limber as I used to be! We had allot of fun taking these!

Corn Maze Madness!!

We had a few open hours in between a half day at school and hockey practice one afternoon. And I have always wanted to try out this corn maze at one of the local farms. (In the daytime anyway!) I've had my run-ins with corn fields in the past, but I thought that perhaps this would help me conquer the fear. . . hmm.
Ian and I found the maps AFTER we completed the maze, typical!

Wiscosim's Rock

Ian had a day off from school, and we took advantage of another gorgeous day!

Ahhh, more fall fun!

Another reason I love the fall around here are all the uncrowded nature walks! I've really been able to take full advantage of them, now that I'm not working, which has been fantastic! Plus, it's a nice way to burn off some baby weight!!

Ahhh, Fall on the Vineyard

I must admit, the fall is my all time favorite time of year here on good ol' MV. I love the warm days, the fall colors, the lack of tourists, the absence of traffic. . . .ahhh. I also love fall because my favorite holiday takes place, Halloween! I hate to admit that this year was the second year in history (that I know of anyway) that I stayed home.
I was less sad about it this year, because I had a pretty good reason. Isaac was still pretty little, and with all the germs out there, I became a wee-bit paranoid. Alas, his costume did not go to waste! Because I'm a little nutty when it comes to Halloween, I actually bought this costume the week I found out I was pregnant. . . hey, I did say I was nutty!

Our Newest Addition

Isaac William Trance
Born September 12, at 8:09am
8lbs 2oz

After 28 hours of labor, our newest bundle of joy joined our lives. It was the most intense, amazing, miraculous moment in my life to date. And rightfully so, I say! Luckily for me, the maternity ward at tiny MV Hospital was empty, so Michael got to stay with me, the whole time! I'm sure there were moments he wished he wasn't, but he hung in there...

I can't believe that was already two months ago, it seems like only a matter of days! I've never liked the expression, but it's true, time really does fly by!

I realize now why I've been wondering around for the past 26 years, I was waiting for him...
