We enjoyed a brief glimpse at spring a few days ago, and then as fast as it came, it was gone again! Apparently, old man winter is one very grouchy old man. He doesn't seem to want spring to arrive.
I have decided that I want to see how green my thumbs are. I've mapped out a spot for a veggie garden in our backyard, and I've already started weeding out the small flower beds we have, and I'm ready to dive in with more planting. I've been up to my eyeballs in reading all about it, so I am pretty confident. I will be planting lavender and clover for luck, just in case : )
I was feeling so inspired when I saw some little green flower tops popping up, and then BAMMO! Today we got more snow. Booooooo
I have no idea why winter keeps trying to make a come back. I totally broke up with him weeks ago. Apparently winter needs a good cartoon style frying pan upside it's head to get the message.
